Bee Removals Lone Hill
Here at Bee Alive we specialise in Bee Removals in Lone Hill and the surrounding areas of Johanneburg.
Bee Alive are advocates for saving the South African Honey Bee. WE DON'T HARM THE BEES! It our mission to save as many bees as we possibly can.
We relocate the hive to our farm where we will look after the Bees and Help the hive stay healthy and strong.
We are registered Bee keepers with DAFF Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and SABIO South African Bee Industry Organization.
It's a sad fact but unfortunately this important species is on the endangered list...so please KEEP IN MIND cheap removal companies might offer a cheap service but they will probably kill the hive.
Bee Removal is Extremely Dangerous work
This is as well highly illegal and fines may be incurred by the people responsible for killing the hive AND the people who's property they were removed from!
Removing bees is a highly qualified job and extremely dangerous. 100 hundred stings from a colony of bees can kill a man. A small colony has about 30000 to 50000 bees and one can never predict how aggressive the bees are when removing any hive. Please don't attempt it yourself EVER! Rather call us.
Working at height is Dangerous
If bees have moved into your roof or chimney we have to climb up onto the structure to remove the hive. This obviously increases the risk of injury. Coupled with that we always have to wear bee suits for safety to prevent getting stung. Often roofs and chimneys are cramped spaces AND Johannesburg sun makes it very hot and thirsty work, extremely unsafe and best left to the professionals.
Please call or email us and we will gladly assist on your bee removal process.
So what do we do with the Hive and the Honey?
As above, we relocate the hive to our farm where we will look after the bees and help the hive stay healthy and strong.
We take the honey with them. The honey is their food. If we take ALL the honey away from the bees they can't survive. It's their food so taking the honey out the hive is basically robbing the bees of their food and it could kill the hive. One can only harvest honey out of a well kept and managed hive after about a year and only two to three frames are harvested at a time giving us some honey and enabling the bees to survive and thrive and keep producing lovely honey for us all to enjoy.
Do you have a Bee Problem?
